January 2014 Presidents Message by Frank Eshpeter

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Our December meeting was our member’s Christmas Potluck Dinner.

Bob Wigley our 4 star chef, had plenty of his famousTurkey, Ham and mashed potatoes. It was up the rest of us to fill in with the side dishes and deserts. This has always been a great evening and a chance for our families to meet some of the folks we all talk about.

Rick Whiton Our Raffle Master had a full table of top notch goodies. He had over $3000 merchandise. He had something for all in this year’s lineup.

We once again had our world class Home Smoked Salmon contest.

And don’t forget the LURE TREE. For every lure you brought for the tree you got a ticket. THE WINNING TICKET TOOK ALL!

Big thanks to Captain Skip Anderson, Director, Flagship Maritime Training, Once again donated a complete $900 course.

And this year we had SANTA in the house again with some special gifts for all the kids in attendance.
