South King County Puget Sound Anglers
April 2013 Presidents Message by Frank Eshpeter
Our March 20th meeting we had a double feature Frank Urabeck and Tom Pollack – SOCKEYE!!!!
Frank brought us all up to date on how the new Cedar River Sockeye Hatchery came about, how it’s doing and what we have to look forward to.
Tom went over some of the newest and best Sockeye tactics for many of this year’s opportunities around the state. Sockeye is one of the top table fare and we have a new hatchery in our backyard and tons of opportunities around the state that are only a few hours’ drive.
Our April17th guest will be the one and only Mr. Tom Pollack. Puget Sound Shrimp and Lings. Tom will be talking about some of the best location and tactics to use for both Puget Sound Ling fishing and some of the hottest Shrimping around. Tom grew up fishing our Puget Sound waters out of the family home in Ballard and has sharpened his skills to become one of the TOP fishing experts in the Pacific NW. If it is in water and can be caught Mr. Pollack can tell you how to catch it.
Tom Pollack- will also have the latest news on what’s happening around the state and what we can look forward to.
Terry Wiest and Bill Lee will bring us up to date on what is going on with our Derby other events around our area.
